Working on color collages. Scissor skills and team work!
After a lesson on symmetry the children made symmetrical butterflies. I was so excited that they all understood the concept. Then this little man blew me away. He had figured out that if you put the shape right in the middle (on the line of symmetry) you only needed one shape, rather than two! Wow!
After talking about solid shapes (cubes, cylinders, and rectangular prisms) and colors we built with them. Not only a math lesson, but look at the great social skills (working together and sharing)!
This was another bar graph lesson. Every child was able to make the graph on their own and read the information off of it!
