Making Valentines!
The children learned how to fold, trace (an ear shape), and cut to make their own hearts!

Here's one kiddo with all of the hearts that she made (all by herself). That's impressive!

Christmas Party

The theme of our Christmas party this year was ELVES! We were elves for the day; singing, dancing, playing, and making Christmas items.I didn't know reindeer could dance!

Serious Scissor Skills

Look at Us Cut!
Using scissors is a big deal in preschool. Cutting uses both sides of your brain because you have to use both hands, at the same time, but in different ways! Not to mention the fine motor skills involved.

Here the class is cutting semicircles. It's very tricky to cut with one hand while moving the paper with the other.

We call this a 'workin' tongue'! Even adults use their tongues when they are forming new neuro pathways, but kids are way cuter when they do it!

3 D sculptures

It's not just Play-Doh!

Molding clay is a great way to 'play'. You can make so many things that you can't make with paper!

Look at these 3D cars, good thinking!

Wow, a race car! This kiddo can create some amazing things!
