This is a video of my son Gage, the first day he learned to read sight words. He was 3 years old. Of course, I was so excited I grabbed the video camera and started to record. I had been working with him for about 3 weeks before it clicked. He is now 3 1/2 and loves to pick out the words that he knows when I am reading to him. He is doing a great job too, learning to sound out words that he is not sure of.
